Lightning Poker Announces Poker Automation Acquisition

Boothwyn, Pennsylvania – Lightning Poker, Inc. today announced it completed the acquisition Poker Automation, LLC, of La Verne, CA, a privately held company that provides automated poker tables and related systems. “By combining the creativity and technology of two gaming companies we will continue to provide cutting edge game development to the industry,” said Brian Haveson, Lightning Poker CEO. The acquisition furthers Lightning Poker’s strategy of delivering a multi-faceted gaming platform for worldwide distribution, and accelerates Lightning Poker’s rapid growth in California card rooms, the largest Poker market in the world.

Lightning Poker will benefit from the current Poker Automation installs which include the world renowned Bicycle casino in California as well as the use of an automated Kiosk system where players obtain player cards; add value to their accounts and cash-out, thus streamlining current procedures for casinos. “We are thrilled to be a part of the Lightning Poker family,” said Rafael Groswirt, CEO of Poker Automation, “The product and management team at Lightning Poker has proven their success and made our decision to partner very easy.”
